This 100% Chardonnay, fortified aperitif is an original! Naturally sweet Chardonnay grapes are fortified with Virginia-distilled brandy, and then aged for six months in Jack Daniel’s® barrels to develop complex and unique spicy aromas that are truly all-American.

There are deep, fresh aromas and flavors of pear, white peach, and citrus, with notes of licorice, vanilla, and roasted almonds.

This refreshing and full-bodied aperitif is a wonderful match for rich appetizers such as foie gras, or paired with desserts such as chocolate fondue, ice cream, or sweet fruit pie. Best when served very cold or on the rocks.

SP Rose, a vibrant salmon hue, exhibits complexity from aging on the lees for 21-24 months. To complement the wine's freshness, a very low dosage was added at disgorging. The result is a fruity and floral nose, a sensuous body, and delightful flavors – notes of cherry, rose petal, and raspberry, with a touch of toast.

Patricia Kluge's philosophy on sparkling wine is that it is should be enjoyed at all occasions! Sparkling wines highlight a variety of foods, and the Kluge SP Rose pairs beautifully with seafood, particularly lobster, langoustines, and smoked salmon. It is also a treat with duck or foie gras.

This Bordeaux-style blend is made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. It is smooth, round and soft, with notes characterized by toasted oak, currant and black cherry. The finish delivers a flourish of mocha and coffee.

The wine’s seductive harmony makes it the ideal accompaniment for beef, duck, pheasant and other game birds that can stand up to the boldness of its character. These dishes work best with the wine when prepared with sweet sauces that incorporate dense, sweet flavors, such as raisin, as well as those with rich, earthy aromas like mushroom.

Albemarle Simply Red is a Bordeaux-style blend made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Tinted a brilliant, intense ruby red, the wine exhibits soft tannins, medium density with a complex mineral expression. There are nuances of blackberry, black currant with delicate licorice, vanilla smoky and spicy notes.

A nice, balanced wine with finesse and persistence that is best when served at approximately 65 F, Simply Red is an ideal companion for appetizers like beef carpacio, baked brie, salads, pizza, French-American cuisine and with cheeses. It is a distinctive wine to have on hand for a family dinner or to share with friends as a pleasant American red.

Our traditional French-style rosé is an exciting blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. This wine bursts with romance, passion and the flavor of the land. The color is a clear and firm pinkish-raspberry tint.  There are floral nuances of fresh berries, white peach, cherry and raspberry with delicate licorice, vanilla and roasted almond notes.

We recommend pairing this refreshing, fruity and elegant wine with appetizers such as salmon carpacio, Greek salad, smoked and grilled fish, or any Asian and Mediterranean main courses.

Made in the Condrieu style, this wine is 100% Viognier and was aged for 8 months in 100% French oak barrels of varying ages. The result is a beautiful sphere of complex aromas and flavors: floral and mature exotic fruits on the nose and palate; a balance of ripe and dried apricots, notes of guava, lychee, and spicy flower perfumes blend with light smokiness, vanilla, and fresh tobacco from the French oak.

Albemarle Viognier pairs well with chèvre and other fresh cheeses, pasta dressed with oil or vegetable sauces, grilled vegetables, light salads, and even cold cuts. The wine shines equally well with delicate fish (such as sole, flounder and snapper) and shellfish - especially lobster, scallops, clams and oysters.
