With its distinctive canvas canopy in the form of a large sail or swooping seagull, FUEL CO. is a cutting-edge concept in fine dining and luxury gas-station service, reminiscent of the early days of America's love affair with the car. In addition to gas, FUEL CO. offers everything from first-class snacks to fine wines to gourmet lunch or dinner. FUEL CO. customers can visit one of three separate venues within the building: the gourmet whole food C-Store, the Café/Espresso Bar and Bistro/Bar. In keeping with Patricia Kluge’s philosophy that wine is meant to be enjoyed often and paired with food, the Bistro/Bar’s stellar wine list is extended into the C-Store’s Wine Shop, which currently stocks 45 wines (as well as 80 wines off the Bistro/Bar wine list). Every bottle in FUEL CO. is available for sale at retail pricing.
